Community/Stakeholder Engagement
Engaged to facilitate conversations with targeted communities within the City of Mississauga to support development of the Healthy City Strategy; the 2-person consulting team started by analysing demographic data to identify communities of focus. We created an engagement strategy and deployed it through a community-wide survey, and tailored focus groups.
Leadership Coaching
The Black Health Alliance engaged Vera to facilitate a leader development session with a focus on team dynamics and growth. The team completed a personality inventory, followed by an hour of individual debrief adn coaching. Results of the inventory created the platform from which Vera faciltated a discussion on leadership adn communication styles, as well as dealign with conflict.
Project Management
The Ministry of Health approved funding for teh establishment of a Black Health and Social Servcies hub in Peel Region. This very important, complex and politically scrutinized initiative required a team of 4 consultants to established a transformation management office, governance structure, reporting templates, and a regular meeting schedule. As needed, the consulting team rolled up their sleeves and added hands and brains to complete deliverables
